DirSync Pro (Directory Synchronize Pro)

Quite often the need to sync some data between different machines, PDAs and memory devices becomes important enough that we find ourselves making copies upon copies because there's a certain paranoia in us which makes us unsure of ourselves.

Today I would like to introduce DirSync Pro (Directory Synchronize Pro), a small, but powerful utility for file and folder synchronization. It has a user-friendly Interface as well as command line which makes it very flexible for running in batches.

Using DirSync Pro you can make a kind of incremental backup, spare lots of time because you don't have to copy all the files each time you want to update your backup; only new/modified/larger files would be copied. DirSync Pro can be used to synchronize the content of one or many folders recursively.

Use DirSync Pro to easily synchronize files from your desktop PC to your USB-stick (PDA, Notebook, ...). Use this USB-stick (PDA, Notebook, ...) to synchronize files to another desktop PC.

Being built on the Java platform it can be run under Windows, Linux, Mac and everything else Java supported.

The best part, DirSync Pro is Open Source; and can be freely distributed according to GPL3.
